Automated guided vehicles AGV

Efficiency. Flexibility. Security

Material flows in production site or in the warehouse, the intensity and direction of which are unstable. Minimization of the number of personnel. Increase of the safety level in the enterprise. These challenges can be met by automated guided vehicles (AGV).

Unlike conveyor systems, which have become traditional solutions, AGVs have a very high degree of adaptability, allowing the customer to change the material flows in the warehouse or production within minutes. In this way, the customer receives a tool that contains significant potential to optimize existing processes. A tool that is both safe for the personnel and other equipment.

Main features:

AGVs can be integrated with conveyor systems and other equipment to perform production or storage operations. The wide range of AGVs supplied by ASKO Systems allows you to solve any task. Light and heavy industry, logistics operators and e-commerce  retailers can take advantage of AGVs implementation and satisfy 100% of their needs.

Product-to-person order picking

This revolutionary order picking solution consists of an upgraded shelving unit for storing goods in totes/cartons, which is moved by a means of mobile robot. Movements are made in terms of picking and replenishment operations. The robot takes the rack from the storage area to the working station where the picking/replenishment process takes place. This approach makes it possible to increase picking speed by 200-300 %

Working stations are placed around the perimeter of the storage area. The throughput of one station can reach 600 goods per hour. In this system it is possible to increase the number of workstations and the number of robots.

Thanks to the intelligent robot routing, the maximum speed of the system is achieved with an optimal utilization of the robots resources.

Transportation of goods

Using AGVs for in-building material handling eliminates the need for conveyor systems and minimizes the need for manpower during handling operations. A wide range of robot models enables pallet and tote handling solutions.

An intelligent robot control system not only ensures that goods are transported along the most optimal route, but also allows robots to integrate with conveyors and other equipment.

Built-in software service modules guarantee long-term and error-free operation of the robot’s devices and systems, ensuring its high reliability

Products sorting

The AGV-based sorting system is one of the most advanced solutions. This system allows the implementation of single-level and multi-level sorting, with robots moving on one building level or on several building or platform levels. Under the guidance of an intelligent control system, load balancing is performed on each AGV, allowing significant sorting speeds and optimal use of the AGV resource, while minimizing the building footprint of the sorting system.
